NCB officer confirms Sara Ali Khan, Deepika Padukone, Shraddha Kapoor and Karishma’s statements recorded; no fresh summon issued today | Hindi Movie News


The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) on Saturday questioned Bollywood divas Deepika Padukone, Sara Ali Khan, Shraddha Kapoor for several hours in a drugs case in connection with the death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput.

Talking about the interrogations, the Director-General of NCB, Mutha Ashok Jain told media, “Statements of Karishma Prakash, Sara Ali Khan, Deepika Padukone & Shraddha Kapoor. Kshitij Prasad has been placed under arrested after questioning. No fresh summon has been issued today. We have arrested more than 18 people.”

According to IANS, NCB sources stated that Deepika and her manager Karishma Prakash who was also the part of the interrogation, were “evasive” on alleged procurement of drugs as was indicated in the chats of October 2017.

Shraddha’s name came to the fore after her alleged chat with Sushant’s former manager Jaya Saha asking for CBD oil came to the fore and also that she visited Pawna resort along with Sushant.

Meanwhile, troubles for Sara mounted after Sushant’s girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty, during one of the television interviews, claimed that the late actor caught the habit of smoking marijuana while shooting for ‘Kedarnath’.
